EPITAPH
MA Graphic Design project
During my Master of Arts studies in 2021, I delved into the concept of holography through the creation of an immersive art installation. Drawing inspiration from science fiction, I envisioned a unique interactive experience where an animation would be projected onto a transparent pyramid. This setup created the illusion of three-dimensional images seamingly floating in space.

Animations and experimentation
The initial concepts and prototype for the installation were crafted from laser-cut fiberboard, which helped me effectively demonstrate its intended function. However, due to its large size, the installation became unwieldy, leading to several challenges. These constraints ultimately impacted the completion of the final display, preventing it from fully reaching its envisioned potential
Epitaph tells a story of the unknown, an alien eulogy of a being not from this world. Augmented by a symbolic language it prompts the discussion about its meaning and significance. This project consists of a series of 2D and 3D animations and visual experiments made with the intention of projection.
